Various incarnations of the wood are used, including root burls, tree branches and bark, wood veneers, and found wooden objects such as table legs, buoys and firewood. They range from the finest hard woods such as cherry and walnut, to salvaged pieces from Hurricane Sandy. The artists display a rich array of styles in wooden sculptures and constructions, wood engravings, mosaics, intricate carvings, marquetry and much more.\u00a0The exhibit will run from November 12th to December 29th with the opening reception on Saturday, November 12th from 2 to 5 pm.
